Finally Proud to Be An American

I'm not your typical cry about all the wrongs because I am Black. I have silently suffered inside being a Black man in America. The closed doors, the missed opportunities, the profiling, the hatred bestowed upon me and my kind just because of my skin color. I never complained. I just took each day as it came and dealt with it. Silently I suffered inside while also losing faith in my country of birth (America).

I know a lot of White Americans took issue with Michelle Obama's comment concerning her first time feeling proud in America. I don't think a White person would ever truly understand her comment. I understood it though because I'm Black and I live in America. I understand what it is like to live in a country where you are judged by your skin color. As opposed to your merit.

I was in south Texas last night when the election results were announced. I have never in my life heard the "N" word spoken so freely as I did last night. I did not let those closed minded individuals ignorace over shadow the much larger positive event taking place.

The whole world is changing. The sad part is there are a small number of individuals that refuse to embrace change. They do not even realize that their thinking and racist closed minded views are what is actually becoming obsolete in American for that matter the world. They do not see that it is them that are being left behind to stew in their own hatred.

I am glad that many American's have left behind the dirty past of this country. It felt so good to see individuals of all walks of life, ethnic backgrounds, color, and religion stand side by side in Grant Park last night. I saw an America determined, together and ready to embrace the dawning of a new day. I finally felt that there is hope that "All" of us Americans can come together to solve the problems we face as a country. The old saying goes "United We Stand Divided We Fall". Still a true statement to this day.

I wrote all of this to say. I have not been proud to be an American in a long time (Since leaving the U.S. Navy in 1982). After last night I now feel a renewed sense of honor, patriotism and commitment to this great country the United States of America. God Bless America and our new President-Elect Barrack Obama (and his family).

iPhone voters are making their voice heard on iVote. Right now Barrack Obama is ahead by 10 percentage points. No need for any anger or bad feelings. All one can do is vote their choice. If enough other Americans agree with you your candidate will win. However, if most Americans do not agree with you your candidate will lose.

We live in a Democracy people where the president is chosen by the people. Why is there so much anger over this fact. Whomever wins is who the majority of Americans want to see in the presidential office.

Please stop all the arguing all you can do is cast your vote and see what happens. Everyone is entitled to their own vote and their own thinking. Please try to learn and respect that fact. If you as a person have a problem with that. Your problem is then with America.

The gap is widening amongst iPhone voters in favor of Obama. Apple's target customer is upper middle class and beyond. That being said it is safe to assume most iPhone owners are educated and of "means".

The intelligent people of this country are not being swayed by the lies John McCain and Sarah Palin tell. The education of McCain & Palin combined can not come close to the education of Barrack Obama. This country needs Change not an old man and an "unknown" until now.

Alec Kazarian - The Terminal app I told you guys about is now top SYSTEM app in Installer 4.0. Conceited Software added a new feature for wider display, so if you turn your iPhone, it turns Terminal. Also, it allows behind system core shell editing. You can modify files, but be careful.

The real Terminal was called Term-vt100, but got accidently thrown out of Conceited's repo 1 month ago. This does not do as good as Term-vt100, but it still works.

STE Packaging, Conceited Software, Spicy Chicken, & MxWeas - Well, more iPhone apps just beat the Windows Mobile and the App Store! The apps Terminal, MIM, MxTube, & Customize really make the iPhone better than it is. Yes, I did all this hacking.

Terminal: You probably heard of Terminal from Mac OS X. Terminal is a command line app now made for iPhone by Conceited Software.

MIM: MIM stands for Make It Mine. This app allows you to change the carrier name on the top left corner of your screen. So if it says "AT&T" or "iPod", you could change it to maybe "Alec's iPhone", "iPhoney", or maybe "Spice".

MxTube: This app is a YouTube video downloader for iPhone. You just open it, search a video to download, and it's done! You can watch it anytime without waiting for it to load.

Customize: This app is amazing! It's really hard for me to say what it does, so just go to YouTube and search iPhone Customize.

The app is the best app right now in Cydia Installer if you hacked your iPhone. It does full video recording with video and audio. The app records video with the 2.0 megapixel camera.

Pop Tart Cell Phone

THis was a crazy idea we had when the toaster broke, and the servers were down at work. We had about 20 min. to kill so we decided to see how many cell phones we could gather around the office and cook some pop tarts.

It ended up taking 11 at close range, and we held another 6 or so close by.

I have to admit it was the best POP TART i ever ate, usually the toaster burns it to a crisp, but this cooked it evenly.

I recommend cooking eveything via cell phones from now on.
