YA how much money did BUSH give away to Companies like Halaberton, and other. Blank checks. Not to mention 10's of thousands of lives. I don't miss having an Arms / Oil dealer for a president.

we're on the same page. Let's give the guy more than a few days to prove himself. You never know where the money comes from - I'm sure Bono didn't make a fortune to come sing at the Lincoln Memorial. A lot of people are donating their time and efforts because of the economy. At least that's the case with our event.

After what we Americans have been through? Probably not enough. I think we could all use a little sunshine...and to pause for a moment to pull our heads out from under the boots of huge corporations, pharmaceutical companies and insurance companies - who are not creating jobs - but making their share holders rich by screwing you and me.

And I do support him and I did vote for him and I do expect change but when you look at the cost of all the parties he had verses Bushes cost of his party looks like Obama is the big spender and I wanted change but not that kind of change.

discgolf56:
yea but how much did Obama people spend of the tax layers money for all the parties?

klownhead:
uh, discgolf56, you're quite mistaken. This was a public event. The ticket prices were kept at a bare minimum for that very reason (the economy) just 10.00. This was not a cash grab but a celebration. Some of us, as you were quick to point out, may *be* stupid, but at least we're doing something positive. Join us won't you?
