And the VP is... Joseph Biden

With less than three months to go before the general elections for the White House, Senator Joseph Biden has been selected by presumptive Democratic nominee Barack Obama to be his vice presidential running mate on the November ticket. Pictured here, Senator Biden bids farewell to his own presidential campaign. Months later, he will now join Obama on the ticket to potentially return the White House back to the Democratic party after eight years of Republican rule. John McCain is expected to announce his running mate shortly.
